LLUHS Department of Family Medicine has been awarded recognition under the National Committee for Quality’s (NCQA’s) following programs: Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP)! The Recognition Programs are built on evidence-based, nationally recognized clinical standards of care.
The PCMH program recognizes clinician practices functioning as medical homes by using systematic, patient-centered and coordinated care management processes.
The DRP program is designed to recognize clinicians who use evidence-based measures and provide excellent care to their patients with diabetes.
NCQA is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to assessing and reporting on the quality of managed care plans, managed behavioral healthcare organizations, preferred provider organizations, new health plans, physician organizations, credentials verification organizations, disease management programs and other health-related programs.
